New Winery and Tasting Room in Loudoun County

This new winery, located on 16.5 acres in northwestern Loudoun County, will feature a wine production building linked by a glass entrance pavilion to a timber-framed tasting room. Large windows and roll up glass doors will face Route 9 and the winery entrance road to show off the working winery tanks and equipment inside the building. The design takes advantage of the sloping site to allow for gravity fed wine production, with the crush pad and wine processing area located on the upper level and the fermentation tanks, barrel room and case storage room on the lower level, where they can take advantage of the cool concrete foundation walls. Vines were planted in 2015. The timber-framed office and equipment barn were completed in 2016, and the main tasting room and production building is slated to begin construction in the spring of 2017.
